Abstract
Ann Winblad has a sobering message for would-be entrepreneurs. She says they should put their dreams of online commerce aside unless they can spend at least $4 million on their site, if not more. One entrepreneur trying to prove Winblad wrong is Adam Glickman, owner of Condomania (www.condomania.com). The four-store enterprise, with outlets in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, sells nothing but condoms.
